 Villa came away from a rainswept Goodison Park with a much needed point as the race for a Uefa Cup place lives on for another week.

Reo-Coker not banned

Contrary to reports in this morning’s media, Nigel Reo-Coker is not facing a two game suspension. Reports circulated that the midfielders booking in Saturday’s victory over Bolton Wanderer’s was his 10th of the season. Aston Villa have confirmed he only has 9 bookings.

Potential Summer signings: Antonio Valencia

Antonio Valencia completed his transfer to Wigan Athletic in January of this year. The fee was undisclosed and was a three and a half year deal making him a Wigan man until the summer of 2011.

Aston Villa 4-0 Bolton Wanderers

Winning ways returned to Villa Park yesterday in spectacular style. It was the perfect result after last weeks reverse at Old Trafford by the same scoreline.
Bolton threatened early on with Helguson failing to capitalise on a Mellberg error.
